Ask anyone in our family who to take saree shopping and you get the same answer: Rupadevi. She can tell pure zari at a glance, knows which border will sit right on whom, and will not let you buy a saree she wouldn't wear herself.
Klinkara Studio is that eye, given a home. Every saree on these shelves was chosen by her. Sit at our long table in Moosapet, or watch her hold it up on a video call, and you get her selection either way.
Why "Klinkara"
The name comes from Klīṅkārī, one of the thousand names of the Goddess in the Lalita Sahasranama. The veena and lotus in our mark are drawn from her.
